CroPulse Irrigation Engine calculates crop water requirements using:
• FAO-56 Penman-Monteith evapotranspiration model
• Crop coefficient growth models (Kc)
• Real-time climate data
• Soil water balance principles
Evapotranspiration (ET₀) represents the atmospheric demand for water evaporation and plant transpiration.
Crop water requirement is calculated as:
ETc = ET₀ × Kc
Weather data source: Open-Meteo global climate API
